I’m going to take some cues from writers such as Chris Guillebeau and Seth Godin here.

Fitting in is massively overrated.

Instinctively people try to fit in, especially growing up. In the world of business, the arts or fashion however, fitting in is setting you up for failure.

Making something great is half the battle; making something great and standing out, that’s where the fun is.

As an introvert, the notion of standing out is tough. Standing out means taking big risks, beingĀ in front of people and interacting with them.

The alternative of standing out is blending in so much that creating anything of significance is almost impossible.

I know I want to create things I can be proud of. In order to do that, I am going to have to take a leap.

Fitting in is tiring anyway.
